How To Catch Sandfish In Stardew Valley (Location Guide)

Sandfish is certainly one of the elusive species in the water bodies around town and it may take some time to catch it. How to Find Sandfish in Stardew Valley

Rarer species are quite difficult to catch and Sandfish are certainly elusive when it comes to catching. But since there is only one location to find it, you will get it done sooner or later. Like fishing, you will need fishing rods for this one as well. To be more specific, you will need an Iridium Rod. Once you have it, you can head on to the location.

With the Iridium Rod, you need to head to Calico Desert in order to catch Sandfish in Stardew Valley. If you are taking the bus, the pond where you can find it is straight up where the bus stops near the Skull Cavern. Now that you know the location, you should head there any time between 6 AM and 8 PM in any season.

How to Use Sandfish

Sandfish is quite useful even if you sell it in the Stardew Valley market. When that is not the case, you can use it while crafting the following things:

  • Maki Rolls
  • Quality Fertilizer
  • Sashimi

Apart from that, they are also part of the Speciality Fish Bundle in the Community Center.
