Published Date :

Like Diablo IV’s open-beta and Server Slam, many disappointed players are facing bugs, crashes, and glitches even after the game is out. As players attempt to enter or leave town in Diablo 4, they are restricted to exit or head further. Due to this issue, players can’t complete their in-game activities, quests, or favors within that area. But what is the cause of this issue? And are there any fixes for the D4 can’t go or leave town issues? Don’t worry, check out our guide to find out some workarounds to help resolve this issue.

Fix Diablo 4 Can’t Leave Town Issue

diablo 4 cant go to town leave

Currently, the devs at Blizzard have not acknowledged the Diablo 4 can’t leave town issue. And the same goes for the players encountering the D4 “Can’t go to town” issue. The main cause of these bugs is an Invisible barrier that restricts you from entering or leaving town.

Since the devs have deployed many hotfixes recently, we recommend updating D4 to the latest version to resolve these bugs. But if that doesn’t work out, here are some workarounds to resolve this bug in Diablo 4:

  • Check your Internet Connection
  • Enter or Leave town from a different route (in-game)
  • Check for Server Outages and downtime maintenance
  • Restart the game and the PC or console
  • Submit a Ticket to Blizzard

We speculate that you might be encountering such bugs due to reloading or syncing issues. Alternatively, the root cause of this bug can also be related to Internet connectivity issues. While many players tried leaving the game, many encountered error messages when they logged in, again. According to a Reddit user, Derreston, when they tried to log back in, they were facing error codes 300008 and 395002.

In the end, there is nothing we can do except wait for some time till the devs resolve this issue. You can follow their official Twitter or Battle.net forums for the latest updates about any issues.

That’s all about the Diablo 4 can’t go or leave town issues. If you liked this guide, check out our more guides on how to fix the stuck on an infinite loading screen, error code 1016 fix, and more Diablo 4 Guides right here on Gamer Tweak.
