In the Northern Expedition update of Fisch, there were a lot of new additions including some fishing rods, a brand-new location, new mechanics, and even fresh mutations. Since you will need to catch mutated fish to farm money, here’s how you can obtain Blighted, Heavenly, Crystalized, and Sleet mutations in Fisch. Two of them require specific rods and the other two require certain events.
How to Get Blighted Mutation in Fisch
Blighted boosts the caught fish’s value by 3x (+200%) and if you catch such a fish, it will have a purple-black color. You can hook and reel in a Blighted fish during a Blizzard event which can occur naturally or be activated via a Blizzard totem. You can purchase it from Northern Summit at the coordinates of (XYZ: 20147, 743, 5805 for 275,000C$. Once you see some tents, look for the totem nearby by heading slightly ahead and dropping down onto a rock formation. Note that you won’t get this mutation by appraisals.

How to Get Heavenly Mutation in Fisch
The Heavenly mutation gives fish a 5x (+400%) boost and when you catch it, you’ll see that the fish has a glowing yellow and white look. At the center of the fish, you’ll see a cross as well. The best way to get fish with Heavenly, is to use the Heaven’s rod which provides a 5% chance. The road of getting this fishing rod is long worth it for its stats, however, its cost is quite high.
How to Get Crystalized Mutation in Fisch
The Crystalized mutation increases the value of fish by 1.7x (+70%) and you can get fish with this mutation only with the Crystalized Rod which can be purchased from Northern Expedition for 35000C$. Since the Arctic Rod is better than the Crystalized rod, you can consider buying the latter only if you have money to spare and if you want to catch fish with the Crystalized mutation.
How to Get Sleet Mutation in Fisch
The Sleet mutation provides a 2.5x (+150%) value increase which makes the fish blue-gray in color. Similar to the Blighted mutation which requires the Blizzard event to occur, Sleet can only be obtained during the Avalanche event. Unfortunately, it only lasts for 20-30 seconds so catching fish during this time is challenging and needs a very high lure speed.
