Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) features many helpful resources like the Scarletite for you to get, but finding its location is tricky. Although collecting these resources will require some elbow grease, you’ll need them to craft strong weapons and armor. In the case of Scarletite, you’ll need it to craft Drakeslayer’s Belt, Drakeslayer’s Bracelets, and the Excalibur sword. If you’re not able to find this material then you’re not alone. The game itself describes Scarletite as one of the most highly sought-after metals. In this guide, you’ll learn how to get Scarletite in FFXVI.

Completing Hot Water Quest to Get Scarletite
You can get the Hot Water side quest at Dhalemekia by completing “Follow the Crystals”, a sub-quest within the “Riddle of the Sands” main quest. Once you do that:
- Head over to the bathhouse and talk to Xaver, the owner, to take on the quest.
- Now, all you have to do is head over to the Doeznov Terraces and defeat the fiery Bath Bomb creatures.
- Then, return to the bathhouse and collect your rewards from Xaver.
We hope this location guide helps you find and get Scarletite in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16). To craft the Drakeslayer’s Belt, you’ll need another rare material called Electrum, so check out our FFXVI guides to learn how to get it.
