Where To Find Radtoads In Fallout 76 – Locations

Published Date :

Radtoads in Fallout 76 are mutated versions of regular Toads that you can occasionally find in the Wastelands. These creatures are usually hard to miss but once you start looking for them, you may have to scour the entire map. Much like Mothman, Radtoads are also found in specific sections of the map. Once you find one, it’s up to you if you want to tame or kill it for some loot. Whatever you want to do, you can find Radtoads in the following locations in FO76.

Radtoads Locations in Fallout 76

Radtoads are mostly spotted in areas near the Forest and Toxic Valley. But if you want to know their specific locations, I would recommend looking for them at the Sludge Hole, west of the Wendigo Cave. You can always find a couple of Radtoads in this location. Also, you can find this creature near the Beckwith Farm, just on the southern side of Top of the World.

While the above two locations are guaranteed spots for Radtoads in Fallout 76, you can also find them near Grafton. This region is found on the western side of the Smith Farm.

Events During Which Radtoads Can Appear

Aside from the aforementioned locations, Radtoads also appear during some in-game events. For your reference, here are all the events wherein, you can encounter a Radtoad in FO76:

  • Path of Enlightenment Event
    • Location: Landview Lighthouse
  • Fasnacht Day Event
    • Location: Helvetia
  • Tea Time Event
    • Location: The Giant Teapot

Tips to Defeat a Radtoad in Fallout 76

After coming in contact with a Radtoad in Fallout 76, one thing you must do is maintain your distance. This mutated Toad has a huge tongue that it uses to damage its opponent. However, you can easily dodge this attack if you move quickly. Apart from its tongue, Radtoads have sharp teeth that can reduce your health bar in no time.

Lastly, you should stay away from a Radtoad’s Eggs. If you trample those Eggs, even unintentionally, they will explode and cause massive damage to you. The best I can suggest is using a Gun to damage and eventually, kill a Radtoad. It’s not that difficult, just connect a few good shots to its head and it will be gone.

Now that you know where to find a Radtoad in Fallout 76, be sure to defeat it for rewards like Radtoad Eggs, Radtoad Legs, Junk, etc. The world of Appalachia is filled with such monsters and you might need the Best Builds to tackle them.
