The Interceptor mission in Tier 2 of the first act in MW3 Zombies requires players to find and destroy the Mercenary Convoy patrolling the streets of Urzikstan. And while at first, it may look like a walk in the park, you will find searching for these armored vehicles a little difficult, let alone destroy them. For players looking to complete the objective and also collect the Stronghold Keycard, proper knowledge of the map and the right combat gear is the key.
The reason why you will find the mission frustrating is that there are no dedicated locations where you will come across the Mercenary Convoy. As Interceptor is a tier 2 mission, we highly recommend you know everything from upgrading weapons to how to repair a tire in Call of Duty MW3 Zombies. With that out of the way, if you are looking for a convoy everywhere in Urzikstan, then here is everything you need to know about it.
Where to Find Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies
While searching for the Mercenary Convoy, you will need to first get yourself a vehicle that will help you travel across the map in MW3 Zombies. Since the convoy consists of three Armored Trucks patrolling in Urzikstan, the best bet would be to look for three truck icons on the map. You will be able to pinpoint them quite easily in the game.
Having said that, you will most often find them patrolling the highway circuit in Urzikstan. And while these armored trucks spawn when you are near and there are no dedicated areas to look for, looking for the Mercenary Convoy in the southern areas of the map is key.
You will come across the convoy in areas like Hamza Bazaar, Zaravan Suburbs, Zaravan City, etc in the game. We would suggest patrolling the highway in these areas to find the trucks. Once you are near the Mercenary Convoy, Dobbs will inform you about the trucks heading your way and you will see them spawning in front of you.
How to Destroy Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies
To destroy the Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies, you will need the right weapons and gear. Not to mention, you will also have to deal with the zombies around which makes it difficult to choose. However, we would highly suggest that you have any explosives or launcher weapons at your disposal, ideally the rocket launcher. This will help you clear out the convoy and get easy kills in the game. Players can also switch to a sniper and take out the enemies one by one. However, you will have to be aware of your surroundings.
The Mercenary Convoy can be pretty hard to destroy and one of the easiest ways to take the enemies down would be to do it in a squad in MW3 Zombies. Once you kill all the enemies and clear out the zombies, you can get your hands on the Stronghold Keycard in the game. You will be able to use the keycard in one of the Mercenary Stronghold that you will come across in different areas.
