The Ishgardian Restoration is a new quest that you will have to unlock in Final Fantasy XIV Online. This is a new server-wide event for all the crafters and gatherers in FFXIV. You will have to join in with other players on the server to do a group task. This task asks you to build a portion of the city-state of Ishgard. How to Unlock Final Fantasy XIV Ishgardian Restoration quest?
To unlock the Ishgardian Restoration quest you will first have to reach level 60 on any job in the game. Doing so will give you access to Ishgard in the Heavensward expansion. You will also need to complete the main scenario quest known as “Litany of Peace.” First go over to the Foundation Section of Ishgard and look for the Recruitment Notice on a wall. This is very close to the Aethryte Crystal.
Next you will have to head over to the Firmament area and speak to the Augebert NPC. Once you speak with him you will be brought up to date about the Ishgardian Restoration. Now, you will be able to participate in the Ishgardian Restoration in Final Fantasy XIV.

If you are a gatherer you will have to get your Diadem items appraised in the game. You can do this by talking to the Flotpassant NPC. However, if you are a Crafter, you will have to go and talk to Potkin.
