    How To Fast Travel In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

    It somehow becomes difficult to cover every part of the Hyrule Kingdom by traveling on land. Thankfully, like in Breath of the Wild, you can Fast Travel in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as well. However, this feature is not available from the beginning of the game. Instead, you must first complete 3 Shrine challenges that are located on the Great Sky Island. Things may get a bit tricky if you are unaware of this game’s mechanics. To help you out, here are all the ways through which you can Fast Travel.

    The 3 Shrines located on the Great Sky Island are – the Ukouh Shrine (north), the In-isa Shrine (west), and the Gutanbac Shrine (east). Completing challenges at these 3 Shrines will unlock different abilities for Link’s Ultrahand. You will unlock the Great Sky Island during the Closed Door quest. With that out of the way, here’s how you can do fast traveling in Tears of the Kingdom.

    Here are all the ways through which you Fast Travel in Tears of the Kingdom.

    Shrines

    To learn the Fast Travel technique, you need to collect all the Light of Blessings at the end of each Shrine on the Great Sky Island. After that, you must go back to the Temple of Time to learn the Recall Ability and obtain one secret & final Light of Blessing.

    Once you are at the Temple of Time, Rauru will teach you how to Fast Travel in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. So, to be able to teleport and travel quickly, you need to visit Shrines. Whenever you visit a Shrine, a blue icon appears on the map on that coordinate. You can select those blue icons on the Purah Pad > Map to fast travel there.

    Skyview Towers

    Like there are Shrines for the Great Sky Island, Skyview Towers are for the Hyrule. It is unlocked by visiting the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. It is located in front of the floating Hyrule Castle. Once there, you need to interact with Purah, the one who made the Purah Pad used by Link.

    Similar to Shrine, the Skyview Tower will be a Fast Travel point in the overworld. However, here, you don’t have to complete any challenge. To unlock a Skyview Tower for fast traveling in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. you have to interact with its respective terminal.

    Lightroots

    Lastly, for the Depths, you have the Lightroots which acts as a Fast Travel Point. You need to interact with the Stem of a Lightroot to unlock it as a Fast Traveling point in the Depths (underground). Moreover, it will also reveal a certain area for that location.

    Travel Medallions

    Once you have completed Robbie’s Task in the later game, you obtain 3 Travel Medallions. This item can be dropped at any location or coordinate of your choice. Further, it will act as a Fast Travel Point for you in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
