How to Farm Pokemon Scarlet Violet Gimmighoul Coins
As mentioned earlier, you can get these Coins from the Wandering and Chest forms of Gimmighoul. But for that, you need to find them first. So, here are all the locations of Chest form Gimmighoul:

Get 20 Coins from NPC in Medali
You can find this NPC at the Medali location to get 20 Gimmighoul Coins. You can find him located at the West Square near the Ice-cream corner in the Medali region. Along with rewarding you with Gimmighoul Coins, you can also hand him some excess coins if your bag is full. As the maximum number of storing these coins is 999, you can talk to him to give him more Coins. This would free your space while allowing you to store more Coins.
Battling Gimmighoul Chest – Best Farming Way in Pokemon Scarlet Violet
You can catch or defeat the Chest-form Gimmighoul to receive Coins as mentioned earlier. Once you defeat them, they can reward you with 50-60 Gimmighoul coins in Pokemon SV. But these numbers can differ according to your level. They can also drop 100 Gimmighoul Coins on a higher level. But if you are lucky enough, you can also get a massive amount of 777 Gimmighoul Coins. This is perhaps the fastest and most efficient way to farm these coins.
Focus on Respawns
As these Pokemon can respawn after a while, you can head back to these locations for more coins. Their time of respawning hasn’t been confirmed yet. But they usually respawn on top of the Watchtowers. So, keep an eye on different Watchtowers to get the Gimmighoul Coins.
Wandering or Roaming Gimmighoul
These forms of Gimmighouls drop up to 1 to 5 Coins in Pokemon Scarlet Violet. Similar to the drop rates of the chest form, you can get better drop rates on a higher level. You have a chance of getting up to 10 – 30 Coins. If you are lucky enough, you can even get 200 Coins. Unlike Chest-form Gimmighoul, you can encounter Roaming Gimmighoul anywhere around Paldea. But they are usually found on rocks, bridges, and signs.
As they are pretty small in size, they are easily missable. So, keep your eyes peeled when looking for these Pokemon. When you are close to a Wandering Gimmighoul, you will hear a cry. You need to simply interact with them to get the Gimmighoul Coins in Pokemon SV.
