Palworld has no restrictions on having duplicate Pals in your Palbox or Party. In fact, you can even have five of the same Pals in your Party but that’d be a little stretch. For me, I’d never have extras in my Palbox as I don’t see them contributing much to the progress. So what can be done to get rid of them? Well, if you have extra Pals, you can make one last use of them to earn some benefit. In this guide, I will show exactly how. So stick to the end and learn what to do with the extra Pals in Palworld.
Here’s What you can Do with Extra Pals in Palworld
Palworld allows you to have ten duplicate Pals, which is a lot by the way. There are 3 major ways to gain benefit from those extra Pals. And here are they:
Sell Pals to Traders
There are several Traders found across the Palpagos Island whom you can sell your Pals. In return, they will give you cash depending on the rarity and level of the Pal you are selling. It goes without saying that you can easily get more than 2000 Gold if your Pal is rarer or is of a higher level. Anyways, to sell a Pal, you can head over to this Trader found in the Small Settlement (73, -486). Once you find him, interact and sell your Pal for the said amount.
Use Pal Essence Condenser
The Pal Essence Condenser is a machine that you can use to merge several Pals into one. First up, you will have to unlock this machine by reaching Technology Level 14. Once unlocked, you will need x20 Ingots, x20 Paldium Fragments, and x5 Ancient Civilization Parts to build and install it on your Base.
After you have the Pal Essence Condenser ready, simply put 4 Pals in the Pal Essence Condenser. Next, start the Condensation and those four Pals will be merged. The remaining Pal will receive the benefits of the sacrificed Pals. More specifically, it will get a stat boost, an increase in the Partner Skill and Work Suitability Trait.
Butcher Pals
Aside from the above, you can also butcher Pals and collect their Meat for consumption. But for that, you will first need to unlock the Meat Cleaver by reaching Technology Level 12. After you have equipped the Meat Cleaver, you will get the option to Butcher a Pal. Know that doing this will permanently sacrifice the Pal so think about it twice.
