Witcher 3 Wild Hunt features three different currencies for the Geralt of Rivia to purchase resources and materials. While the primary currency is the crowns, you will also earn Florens and Orens in the overworld. The Crowns are the main currency that can be used in several kingdoms mainly the Novigrad. As the Crowns is the main currency, several players are wondering if their earned Florens and Orens can be converted. But is there a way to convert the currency? Check out our guide on how to exchange Coins in Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
How to Exchange Coins or Currency in the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
You can exchange the Coins or currency by heading over to the Money changer, Vimme Vivaldi. You can find him located in the Free City of Novigrad. As you reach there, head to the southwest of the Hierarch Square near the Triss Merrigold House to find him.
You can interact and talk to him to exchange the coins in Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Upon interacting, choose the “I’d like to convert some currency” option. This would convert the Florens and Orens in your inventory into Crowns.
The exchange rates for these currencies are as follows:
- 1 Oren: 1 Crown currency
- 1 Floren: 3 Crown currency
In addition to converting your currency, you can also ask for a one-time loan from Vimme Vivaldi. For that, select the “Need a Loan” option. As Yennefer of Vengerberg is the guarantor of the loan, you don’t need to worry about paying him back. This would reward you with 100 crowns. You can head over to Vimme Vivaldi frequently to exchange the Florens and Orens for Crowns.
