    In Minecraft, the Eroded Badlands variant is part of the Badlands biome since update 1.7. The Standard Badlands was even one of the top 3 biomes voted for Minecon Earth 2019. The very first reason behind its success is the Gold Ore spawn rate, which is pretty high. And different colored terracotta blocks, that can come in handy to craft templates and many other things.

    Weather & Vegetation

    In Eroded Badlands, the weather is very dry with a very low chance of rain. You may still come across some puddles & ponds, but it’ll not help you much. Moreover, there are no trees available in this biome apart from some Dead Bushes & Cacti. So make sure you bring some water and seeds of your own to start farming.
