COD Modern Warfare 2 features a wide range of weapons and different weapon platforms. Having said that, melee weapons are no exception to this collection. Knives are one of the melee weapons that are the most preferred choices for close-ranged combat. As you progress, you can get your hands on Combat Knife. How to Equip Combat Knife in Modern Warfare 2
You can equip the Combat Knife by editing your Custom Loadouts in MW2. Follow the below steps to equip Combat Knife:
- Firstly, head to the Weapons tab/section on the Main Menu.
- Now, create or edit a Custom Loadout.
- Hover over the Secondary weapon and select the Swap option.
- Navigate and head over to the Melee weapons option.
- Select the Combat Knife to equip it as your secondary weapon.
Before you equip Combat Knife, you also need to unlock this melee weapon in MW2 first. You can unlock the Combat Knife by raising your rank to 17.
But make a note to not include the Overkill perk in your loadout. If you use this perk, you might not be able to use the Knife as your secondary weapon. So, make sure to change your perks before equipping this melee weapon.
