Lethal Company Dramatic Masks Guide (Tips & Tricks)

Published Date :

Lethal Company monsters are a new fear to reckon with. And if you have played the game following some of the recent updates then you might be aware of the Dramatic Mask entities. The Frosty Update brought in two theater masks namely comedy and tragedy. The masks with a smile and frown are dangerous hostile scraps that players can get their hands on. And if you pretend to hold them onto your face then you would be possessed to become one of the masked entities, killing you off immediately and turning you into the Masked.

However, the twist in the tale is that the Dramatic Mask entities can appear by themselves as a mimic without possessing anyone. And while you can avoid wearing the mask, many might be confused about how to deal with these Masked monsters entirely. So if you want to get away from these entities, here is everything you need to know about them.

There are two different masks available as scraps namely Comedy and Tragedy, however, both of them are hostile towards players. And wearing either one of them on your face will possess and kill you.

The only difference is the time taken as the Comedy Mask will take much more time to possess the player than the Tragedy Mask, which will do it quite instantaneously. So your best bet would be to dump in your pile of scraps on your ship. Although, once the mask takes over you there are 5 seconds before you face death, in that time you can teleport out of the facility which will ultimately remove the mask.

However, if one of your members in the party does change and become Masked or if you come across an entirely independent masked enemy, the very first thing to notice about them are their eyes. If the eyes are red, then you might want to keep your distance in the game. Additionally, if the player is not holding the mask and it’s stuck to their face then it’s another sign that they have become the Masked entity.

Masked Entities that spawn independently look similar to your party members in Lethal Company and are unscannable. This means your scanner won’t show that they are the Masked entities. However, you can figure it out quite quickly with the above clues and their movement technique.

How to Deal With Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company

The best way to deal with these Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company is to avoid wearing them and sell them directly. With that being said, you will be able to deal damage to these hostile mobs easily. You will be able to take them out with around 5 hits with Shovel. Players can make things even easier if you have the Shotgun from the Nutcracker at your disposal.

However, you might want to avoid getting near them as they will turn you into a Masked entity, resulting in your death. Another important thing to keep in mind is that the Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company can chase you even outside the facility. This is where you can make use of the Stun Grenade available to daze them.

That’s everything covered in this guide. If you find this guide helpful, check out other guides on how to survive and beat Forest Keeper and how to deal with eyeless dogs, right here on Gamer Tweak.
