There are several ways to earn Double XP Tokens in COD MW2.

Beating MW2 Campaign Missions
The best way to earn Double XP Tokens is by beating the MW2 campaign. There are a total of 17 highly engaging missions, and players need an average of six hours to complete them. By doing so, you can collect the following amount of Double XP for free:
- 4x Double XP Tokens
- 4x Double Weapons XP Tokens
Note that completing them again will not result in more tokens.
Purchasing MW2 Vault Edition
The Vault Edition of MW2 costs more than the standard edition but it has its bonuses. Purchase the Vault edition through the in-game store on Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare (2019), and Warzone. By doing this, you will earn:
- 10 Hours of Double XP Tokens
- 10 Hours of Double Weapons XP Tokens
Buying Food Promotions
The COD franchise has collaborated with several brands like Mountain Dew, Burger King, and Little Caesars. These promotions will be exclusive to certain locations so do check beforehand. How to Use Double XP Tokens in Modern Warfare 2
Here’s how you can activate them.
- Choose any of the game modes from Quick Play, Third Person Moshpit, Prisoner Rescue, etc.
- Next to ‘Start’, you will see an ‘XP Tokens’ option
- Click on XP Tokens and you will see all the available tokens on the right side of your screen
- Click on them to Activate
Note that the Double XP and Weapon XP Tokens countdown is in real-time and not in-game time. So after activating the token, make sure to make the most of it. COD has always been a competitive game where you constantly have to level up. However, with the Double XP tokens, you can easily gain an edge over new players or catch up to veterans.
