COD Modern Warfare 2 features a wide range of Operators that you can play from. There are over 25 unique Operators and they are split into two main teams. These groups or teams are namely the SPECGRU and KORTAC teams. While you get access to a few of them as you start MW2, most of them need to be unlocked. How to Unlock All the Operators in COD MW2
As mentioned earlier, each of the operators can be unlocked by completing different requirements. So, here’s the list of all the Operators and how to unlock them in COD MW2:
- Aksel (KORTAC): You need to get 20 kills in a single Multiplayer Match to unlock him.
- Calisto (KORTAC): Get 5 Headshots in a single Multiplayer match to unlock her.
- Chuy (SPECGRU): Complete the sixth mission titled Cartel Protection in the campaign mode.
- Conor (KORTAC): You need to get 5 Hipfire kills in a single multiplayer match to unlock this operator.
- Fender (KORTAC): Get 2 kills with the launcher weapon in a single multiplayer match.
- Gromsko (SPECGRU): Complete the first Spec Ops mission titled Low Profile to unlock this operator.
- Group I (KORTAC): Already unlocked from the start.
- Gus (SPECGRU): You need to get 5 assists in a single multiplayer match.
- Horangi (KORTAC): Get 5 Kingslayer kills in a single multiplayer match.
- Hutch (KORTAC): Complete the 17th mission titled the Countdown to unlock him.
- Kleo (SPECGRU): Get a kill with the lethal equipment to unlock her.
- König (KORTAC): Simply execute a finishing move to unlock this operator.
- Luna (SPECGRU): Complete the third Spec Ops mission titled Defender: Mt. Zaya to unlock her.
- Nova (SPECGRU): Complete the 10th mission titled Violence and Timing in the campaign mode to unlock her.
- Ranger I (SPECGRU): Already unlocked from the start.
- Reyes (SPECGRU): Complete the 14th mission titled, Prison break in the campaign mode to unlock him.
- Roze (KORTAC): You need to get a Point Blank kill to unlock her.
- Stiletto (KORTAC): Get two revenge kills in a single multiplayer match to unlock her.
- Zero (KORTAC): Complete the second Spec Ops mission titled the Denied Area to unlock him.
- Zimo (SPECGRU): Get a kill from the secondary weapon to unlock him.
How to Unlock Ghost, Price, Farah, & Soap in MW2
Aside from the above list, the multiplayer mode also features the Ghost, Price, & Soap operators. But the twist here is that they are accessible only if you have the Vault edition. These operators are included in the Red Team 141 operator pack. The Vault edition costs over $99.99 and also includes the Battle Pass for the 1st season with 50 Tier skips.
How to Unlock Oni
The Oni operator is exclusively accessible only for PS players that have pre-ordered COD Modern Warfare 2. While it is uncertain to say if this operator will be available for other platforms as well.
