Dead Rails New Classes Guide
Miner Class

The Miner is the ideal class for players who want to explore dark areas with ease. The built-in headlamp provides constant light, making navigation and item collection much more convenient.

High Roller Class
In-game description: “Collect moneybags for 1.5x more, but you’re 10x more likely to be struck by lightning.”
The High Roller is perfect for risk-takers who want to maximize their earnings. This class earns 1.5x more money from money bags, but the trade-off is a significantly increased chance of getting struck by lightning during a storm.
- Starting Gear:
- 1x Shovel
- Appearance: Wears a stylish white cowboy hat.
Conductor Class
In-game description: “Can drive the train at a faster speed, but they have half the max health and don’t spawn with a melee weapon.”

- Starting Gear:
- 2x Coal
- Appearance: Wears a standard gray railroad cap.
Vampire Class
In-game description: “Increased movement speed and melee damage, but takes damage in direct sunlight.”
For those who prefer an aggressive melee approach, the Vampire is a strong choice. This class gains a boost in movement speed and melee damage, making them deadly in close combat. However, they take damage when exposed to direct sunlight.
- Starting Gear:
- 1x Shovel
- 1x Vampire Knife (helps with healing)
- Appearance: Has black hair with some gray on the sides.
Cowboy
