The Crystal Beams Event in Grow a Garden was first revealed during the Zen update and it’s an interactive event that has some great rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about it, what to do when the developers activate the next time around, and the kind of mutations you can obtain from it.
What is the Crystal Beams Event in Grow a Garden?
The Crystal Beams event is an admin-activated weather event and so, you need to be in-game when the developers are online as well. This is most likely to happen an hour or two before an update so make sure to stay notified via the game’s page on Roblox. During the Crystal Beams event, 8 crystals spawn around the map and players need to interact with each of them before time runs out.
- Find all 8 crystals quickly once the event begins. They should be easy to spot because they are quite colorful. You can do this alone, but it will be tough, and there’s a chance that you won’t finish it. For the best results, it’s best to be in a server with other active players before a major weekly update.
- Charge each crystal by approaching and tapping E five times per crystal (it will be shown as “1/5”, “2/5” on the screen). Keep doing this until you finish the interactions on all crystals.
- Make sure to complete it before the event ends. After successful activation, beams shoot from each crystal and an interesting animation appears. You will see that it will provide a mutation chance to all crops. Celestial and Aurora are some mutations that you can have through this method. Celestial gives a whopping x120 value multiplier and Aurora provides x90 which is great if it’s applied to high value crops in your garden. Some also say that you get the Moonlit mutation (x2).
