Sims 4 Cottage Living Chicken Disappeared After Festival Bug Fix

Published Date :

Many players on Reddit are reporting that their chicken disappeared after the festival in Sims 4 Cottage Living. If you brought your beloved chicken pet to the Finchwick Chicken Fair, participated in the event and then went back home after the festival was over, the chicken won’t be in the coop or anywhere else. But don’t worry, it has not gone anywhere.  If this has happened to you too and don’t know where your chicken has vanished, there’s somewhere specific you need to look.

All you have to do is check your household inventory because that’s where the game sends the chicken to. In case it still doesn’t show up there, make sure to open up the cheats box with CTRL + SHIFT + C. Next, type in testingcheats true. After that, you have to type bb.showhiddenobjects true after which it should show up in the household inventory. This solution has been posted on an EA forum so go ahead and check if this works for you.

I know it can be disheartening to lose your chicken, especially if you have worked hard for it and also grown attached to it. But you don’t have to worry about losing your animal. Players won’t think of checking their household inventory for their chicken but that’s exactly where you will find it. In case this happens with another animal like a Cow after the Cow fair, you can try the same solution.
