It’s not just you, many players out there are trying to figure out the controls to change the outfit in Dead Island 2. As the game features up to 6 default characters known as Jacob, Ryan, Bruno, Carla, & Amy. It makes it clear, that changing their outfits is not on the table. But when it comes to funky outfits, many players are unable to find any. If you are too, then scroll down to know more about if you can customize the costumes of the characters in the game.

Are there Any Controls to Change Outfits in Dead Island 2 (Customization)

Unfortunately, as of now, there are no options available to change outfits/costumes in Dead Island 2 base game. So it seems the standard game owner are simply stuck with the costumes their slayers are wearing by default. Just like, there are no controls to customize the character’s appearance, you’ll not be getting any options to change their clothes too. However, that’s not the case for the edition owners.

How To Change Outfit In Dead Island 2 - Controls?

If you are a Deluxe or Gold edition owner, then you’ll get 2 characters packs featuring new costumes and weapons. So apparently, you’ll have the option to change between some number of outfits. If you are unaware of what the 2 Character pack contains, then we’ve got you covered.

  • Character Pack 1
    • Rodeo Sunset costume (Jacob)
    • Devil’s Horseshoes weapon
  • Character Pack 2
    • Neurunner skin (Amy)
    • Saimir & Julienne weapon

As you can see, currently there are 2 outfits released, one for Jacob and the second one for Amy. And they are the only ones who can wear them. But don’t worry, there are no restrictions to equip the weapons to another character in the game. Moreover, if you are looking forward to changing Bruno or any other slayer’s outfit, then it seems you’ll have to wait for a little. It is speculated that other character packs will arrive soon featuring more funky clothes to flex.
