You can set up camps in Baldur’s Gate 3 to restore your health and strengthen the bond with your companions. It is one of the most vital locations on the map as it gives you a variety of things to do all at once. Whether you want to heal up and restore your spell slots or simply navigate your inventory, you can rest at the camp for as long as you like. However, many players have trouble while setting up a camp or taking long rest. Our guide below will show you everything you need to know about camps.
How to Set Up Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3
To set up camp in Baldur’s Gate 3, you will need to click on the “Campfire” icon and then select the “Long Rest” option. Players will need to have 40 Camp Supplies to be able to take a Long Rest. However, it is quite beneficial as it will fully restore your Hit Points and Spell Slots. Luckily, you can set up a camp almost anywhere and at any time of the day.
After selecting “Long Rest”, you will be given the option to end the day and teleport to Camp. Players will then have to interact with Bed Rolls or a Camp Fire to enable Long Rest. After exchanging 40 Supplies, you will wake up the next day with a restored HP bar and spell slots. Keep in mind that if you choose to set up camp and take long rest in BG3, any time-sensitive quests will automatically fail. Alternatively, you can also choose to take a Short Rest. Doing so will only restore 50% of your HP and a few spell slots, however, you won’t have to spend any Camping Supplies.
Where to Find Camping Supplies in BG3
Players will come across Camping Supplies inside boxes, crates, or barrels in BG3. You can also find them while looting bodies. Make sure to pick up food items too as they are included under Camping Supplies. However, you may not always be lucky enough to get them while exploring. So, another way is to buy Camping Supplies directly from vendors.
