How to Enter Burrow Holes in Baldur’s Gate 3
Burrow Holes are relatively smaller and tricky to enter than any crevices you will come across in Baldur’s Gate 3. As mentioned earlier, they are revealed through certain Perception Checks at different locations in the game. Here are some of the ways through which you can enter burrow holes and explore the area ahead in BG3:
- Use Wild Shape: Players with Druid class, can use Wild Shape to turn themselves into a cat to enter the burrow holes. You will unlock the feature at level 2, which lets you transform into different animals.
- Use Enlarge – Reduce: This level 2 Transmutation spell will help you make any creature larger or smaller in the game. Players with Halfing or Gnome as their race can cast it upon themselves to shrink themselves in size and access the holes easily.
- Use Disguise Spell: The only thing with using the Enlarge – Reduce spell is that you have to be Halfing or a Gnome to successfully shrink in size smaller than the entrance. And as many players may select different races which don’t necessarily possess the size of them, you will need another option. One of your best bets would be to cast a Disguise spell to transform into the two races and then use the Enlarge – Reduce spell to enter the Burrow Holes.
- Gaseous Form: This level 3 Transmutation spell can be acquired by a Wizard, Warlock, Sorcerer, or Druid (with Circle Of Spores) to turn them or their companion into a gas cloud. After which you can easily pass through the hole and access the area ahead for hidden chests, loot, passages, etc.
How to Fit in Tiny Crevices in BG3
Although Crevices are much bigger than Burrow Holes, entering them can still be tricky in Baldur’s Gate 3. Although Players with Halfing or Gnome as their races can easily fit in through the rocky crevices in the game. Here are some of the other ways you can get through the tiny crevices in BG3:
- Use Disguise Spell: The best option for everyone out there would be to simply disguise themselves as a Gnome or a Halfing to enter the Crevices in the game.

- Use Wild Shaoe: Players with Druid class can use Wild Shape to transform into any small creature they have unlocked through the campaign to enter the crevice in Baldur’s Gate 3.
- Gaseous Form: Like burrow holes, players can also use Gaseous Form to enter the rocky crevices by transforming themselves into a gas cloud in the game.
