Valheim is one of the most brutal explorations multiplayer games. Highly inspired by Norse Mythology & Viking cultures, you get to explore multiple Biomes in this game differentiated by their own aesthetic. A recent update in Valheim introduced a new region known as Mistlands. What makes this region different from the others is that it is covered with fog. This restricts the movement to a certain extent which is annoying. However, Wisp is a resource that you can use to clear the mists. Though it is not something you will find simply by exploring. Wisps is a resource acquired from Wisp Fountain. If you are looking to get some, then this article is all you need. Check out this guide that features the steps to build and use a Wisp Fountain in Valheim.
How to Build Wisp Fountain in Valheim
In order to build a Wisp Fountain, you need 10x Stone resources & 1x Torn Spirit. For those who don’t know, Stones can be obtained by breaking rocks. Whereas, Torn Spirit can be acquired by Yagluth in the Plains Biome. Once you have obtained both resources, head over to a Stone Cutter near you to craft a Wisp Fountain in Valheim.
How to use Wisp Fountain to Clear the Fog in Mistlands
As mentioned above, Mistlands is covered by mist and Wisps is what you need to clear that out. Hence, all you need to do is place the Wisp Fountain anywhere outside. Further, wait for a few so that the Wisp automatically reaches your place.
The fog around the Mistlands region of Valheim can be cleared out by crafting Wisp Light or Wisp Torch. Additionally, keep a note that the Wisps only appear at night near the Wisp Fountain in Valheim. In order to craft them you need the following resources.
- Wisp Light – One Silver & One Wisp
- Wisp Torch – One Yggdrasil Wood & One Wisp.
Also, keep in mind that a Wisp Torch when placed on top of a tower, will clear out the fog on a higher level. On the other hand, a Wisp Light will follow wherever you go clearing out the mist nearby in Valheim.
That’s everything covered on the Wisp Fountain in Valheim. Meanwhile, you are here, make sure to check out our other Valheim guides on Gamer Tweak.
