Upon waking up from the deep slumber in V Rising, you play as a weak vampire looking for resources to regain its health. As you progress by gathering and unlocking new powers, you need to build a base or Castle. The Castle Heart is located in the middle of and powers an entire base. The Castle Heart prevents decaying and allows you to expand the Castle. Most of the players are unable to place their Castle’s heart and expand the borders due to an environmental error. So, here’s our guide on how to solve the blocked by Environment error in V Rising.

How to Solve Blocked by Environment Error in V Rising

You need to make sure to place the Castle Heart and its borders upon a plain dirt tile. You need to make sure to not place it on the barriers or else it might prompt an error. To avoid the “blocked by environment error“, make sure to not expand your Castle’s borders on the environmental barriers. These include trees, walls, bushes, and stones. Along with this error, you can also be prompted with the blocked by the border error.

You can also clear out the barriers with the Dismantle option. Hit the Spacebar key to dismantle and clear out all barriers within the area. Once it’s clear, you can place the Castle Heart or expand the borders of your Castle. Check out our guide on how to move the Castle Heart for more insight.

While you can clear out the environmental barriers that can be obstructed, some of the barriers like rivers cannot be destroyed. So, you might need to place the Castle in a different location with a plain dirt tile.
