In my experience, the Koenigsegg Jesko is the best Drag Car in Forza Horizon 5.
McLaren F1 GT and BMW X5 M Forza Edition have also been pretty unbeatable in terms of Drag Racing. The McLaren GT costs a whopping 15,000,000 CR in the Autoshow but you can also get it via a Wheelspin, a Super wheelspin or Auction house.
McLaren F1 GT manages to reach a top speed that hits more than 400 MPH as quickly as 30 seconds and if you tune it, this car can be *chef’s kiss* in a Drag race.
With the Koenigsegg Jesko, I struggle while turning corners, but for Drag Races, it’s a gem. It will give you a considerable lead in the first few moments of starting the race. The Jesko has a handling stat of 10 so you won’t have issues keeping the car facing straight and keeping the momentum till the finish line. You can even get the Jesko for free – we’ve detailed the steps in this guide here.

So, go ahead and unlock these cars, find out their top speeds, tune them to get an even higher acceleration, handling and launch. It’s all about trial and error – depends on the player’s preference, difficulty settings and more. But no matter which difficulty level you’re on, these fastest cars will give you the perfect boost for you in Drag races or Speed Zones.
That’s all for this one. While we are on this topic, check out our guide on the best cars in each class in FH5.
