But before that, you must leave your current Division to join Division 5. For that, you must talk to an NPC Khaotxc sporting an all-black outfit. You can find this NPC near the stairs of the Soul Society standing against a wall.

- Firstly, head to the Division 5 captain’s house to the left corner of the Soul Society. Talk to him to join Divison 5.
