The Duke is the best Archetype with the most balanced perks in the game. It works both for Power and Contact builds. You get a total of 4 slots to add perks when you use gold or the Diamond Archetype of it.

If you use a Power build then the perks you should go for are:

  • Contact I: It increases your Contact for both Left & Right-handed and Batting Clutch.
    • CON L: +5
    • CON R: +5
    • BCLT: +5
  • Contact II: It increases your Plate vision and Contact for both Left & Right handed.
    • CON L: +5
    • CON R: +5
    • PVIS: +5
  • Contact III: It increases your Batting Clutch, Contact for both Left & Right handed, and Plate Vision.
    • CON L: +4
    • CON R: +4
    • PVIS: +4
    • BCLT: +4

If you use a Contact build then these are the perks that you should use.

  • Power I: It increases your Batting Clutch and Power for both Left & Right handed.
    • PWR L: +4
    • PWR R: +4
    • BCLT: +4
  • Power II: It increases your Power for both Left & Right-handed and Arm Strength.
    • PWR L: +4
    • PWR R: +4
    • ARM: +4
  • Power III: It increases your Batting Clutch, Contact for both Left & Right handed, and Plate Vision.
    • PWR L: +4
    • PWR R: +4
    • BCLT: +3
    • ARM: +3

Finally, for your 4th perk, you should always use:

  • Clear for Takeoff: It boosts your exit velocity on normal swings.
