Diablo 4 Barbarian Arsenal System (Explained)

Check out our guide that explains the Barbarian Arsenal System in Diablo 4.

Since Diablo 4’s manager has shared that “classes won’t always feel balanced”, several players turned to play as the Barbarian class. Aside from being incredibly strong, the Arsenal system is another reason to choose the Barbarian class. It is a feature that is unique and exclusive to only the Barbarian classes. Once unlocked, it allows you to wield four weapons at once. But several Diablo IV players are confused about this gameplay mechanic and how it works. So, check out our guide that explains everything about the Diablo 4 Barbarian Arsenal system.

What is the Diablo 4 Barbarian Arsenal System

diablo 4 barbarian arsenal system explained

The Arsenal System in Diablo 4 allows the Barbarian classes to wield four different weapon types at once. This includes equipping the two one-handed weapons for dual-wield, one two-handed Bludgeoning weapon, and one two-handed slicing weapon. But before you wield four weapons for your Barbarian class, you must unlock this feature.

How to Unlock Arsenal System

You can unlock the Arsenal System for Barbarian classes automatically by reaching level 5 in Diablo IV. Once you have unlocked the Barbarian Arsenal System, press the Shift + C key button to open your Expertise tab. You can select the types of weapon and their offering bonuses. Alternatively, you can also check out the four weapon slots in your Inventory. For increased and more bonuses, you can level up the slotted weapons.

After leveling these weapons to the maximum rank 10, you will get additional bonuses and power for that particular weapon. We suggest players level up their weapons to get these passive buffs and bonuses. As you obtain a new and better weapon type, the Arsenal system will automatically switch your weapons. But if you are confused about swapping weapons, check out our guide on how to switch weapons.

You can also unlock the Technique slot for the Arsenal System by completing a questline at level 15. You can find this questline at the Dry Steppes region. But since this region is inaccessible in Beta, you cannot unlock the Technique slot as of now. However, we will update this guide as soon as this area is accessible to all.
