There are in all 8 characters that you can unlock in Back 4 Blood. Each character will have their own perk as well as fight style that makes them distinctive. These characters get unlocked at particular stages in the game. You will get an initial choice of 4 characters, however, the remaining four still remain locked. How to unlock all characters in Back 4 Blood?

Back 4 Blood Unlock All Characters: How To Get New Heroes?

To unlock all the characters in the game you will simply have to complete all the missions. There are four characters that are unlocked right from the beginning. These characters are:

  • Evangelo
  • Walker
  • Holly
  • Mom

The remaining characters will unlock later on in the game. However, there is a way by which you can get them early on. But, first, you should know who the other characters are. These heroes are:

  • Hoffman
  • Doc
  • Karlee
  • Jim

To unlock this set of characters you will first have to get through “The Devil’s Return” missions. This means that you will unlock all these Back 4 Blood characters by completing the Act 1 missions. This includes 4 different missions that you will have to complete. These missions are:

  • Complete Resurgence
  • Tunnel of Blood
  • Pain Train
  • The Crossing mission

After this, you will come across a cutscene that will show you all the available characters. Now, if you want to switch the characters you can start a new run. This won’t reset your progress and you will be able to select one of the newer characters.
