Minecraft has lots of attributes you can get from enchantments. They really help speed up your gameplay in Survival mode. Aqua Affinity is such an enchantment, which really helps especially when you are in the water. So today we will look at everything you need to know about Aqua Affinity enchantment in Minecraft.
What Does Aqua Affinity Do in Minecraft?
Aqua Affinity enchantment helps you to speed up underwater mining in Minecraft. Without this helmet enchantment, you will take 5 times longer than it takes to mine on land. So using Aqua Affinity helmet enchantment lets you mine underwater at the same speed as mining on land. But this enchantment doesn’t apply if you are floating.
You can also use an anvil, game command, and even an enchanting table to add this enchantment to any helmets or turtle shell. Once you craft it, wear it to instantly get the boosts. Floating in Minecraft will also decrease your mining speed. But even though Aqua Affinity helps a bit, it does not remove the entire penalty. So for that, you need to look at other ways to increase speed.
Unless you wear it, just crafting Aqua Affinity will not grant you the enchantments. Also apart from Aqua Affinity, there are other enchantments you can get in the game. Here’s a list:
