COD Modern Warfare 2 features a plethora of gameplay mechanics and elements for players to use. You may have seen a majority of players tilting their weapons for taking accurate shots. To lean or tilt sideways, you need to customize your loadout. As you use this attachment, you don’t even need to hide behind a cover or wall to aim sideways. But how to do so? Check out our guide on how to aim sideways in MW2 to find out.
How to Aim Sideways in Modern Warfare 2
You can equip the Canted Vibro-Dot 7 to aim or hold your gun sideways in MW2. Its Canted Laser aiming allows players to tilt their weapons sideways. But for that, you need to unlock the Canted Vibro-Dot 7 laser attachment first. You can unlock this laser attachment by leveling up the TAQ-56 to level 10.
Once you have unlocked this attachment, you can equip this Laser in Loadout to aim sideways. This would allow you to hold your weapon sideways as you lean the weapon. Unlike Wall mounting, you can aim sideways without taking any cover using this attachment in MW2. As you aim down sight using this attachment, your weapon will lean or tilt sideways automatically.
Being a universal attachment, you can use a Canted Vibro-Dot 7 for numerous weapons. Mentioned below are all the weapons that you can use Canted Vibro-Dot 7 to aim sideways:
- FSS Hurricane
- FTAC-Recon
- Kastov 545
- Kastov 762
- Kastov-74u
- Lachmann-556
- Lachmann-762
- M16
- M4
- Minibak
- SO-14
- TAQ-56
- TAQ-V
- Vaznek-9k
There are some drawbacks to using any laser attachments in MW2. Although it would allow you to tilt or lean sideways, it emits green laser light. This can be used for the enemy players to detect your location.
