Salmon Run Ranks in Splatoon 3 Explained

Salmon Run Ranks in Splatoon 3

The Ranking system in Salmon Run is way more different than other game modes in Splatoon. Based on the level of your performance, you get a Job Title or Rank. Check out these points to know more about these ranks:

    • There are 5 Job Titles or Ranks in Splatoon 3 which are:
      • Intern – Includes 2 Tutorials
      • Apprentice
      • Part-Timer
      • Go-Getter
      • Overachiever
      • Profreshional – Includes 4 Tiers that between (0-99), (100-199), (200-299), and (300-999)
    • Interns eventually become Profreshionals once their stats increase. Each successful shift (wave) increases your stat by 20 points.
    • The shift is deemed successful once the required number of Golden eggs is collected.
    • In Splatoon 3, the waves get more difficult when promoted to a higher level in Salmon Run.
    • The Rank Meter varies when you lose in a wave:
      • Wave 1 – Losing the first wave reduces the stat by 20 points. Disconnecting in the middle of the wave will reduce the stat by 10 points. Basically, losing the match with a disconnected player reduces the total stat earned to half.
      • Wave 2 – Losing the second wave reduces the stat by 10 points. Disconnecting in the middle of the second wave will reduce it to half, which will be 5 points.
      • Wave 3 – No change in Stats at all.
    • Job Titles or Ranks in Salmon Run also provide a Paygrade percentage that adds to the score at the end of each wave. Also, this helps to earn bonuses faster.
    • When there’s an increase in stats of Job Title or Rank by 20 points, the Paygrade percentage increases by 5%.
    • At the end of each wave, you receive Grizzco Points (p) that is calculated as:
    • Grizzco Points = Job Score (Total Golden Eggs + Total Power Eggs Divided by 200) multiplied by Paygrade percentage of each player.
