If you don’t know what Effort Levels are, they are basically a new stat mechanism. This mechanism works just like how EVs (Effort Values) and IVs (Individual Values) worked in the previous Pokemon games. How to get Grit Fast in Pokemon Legends Arceus
You can farm a lot of Grit Items in Pokemon Legends Arceus by releasing Pokemon in bulk.
- Go and speak with Marie outside the pasture in Jubilife Village. You can also fast travel to the Base Camp and talk to the Galaxy member.
- Access the Pokemon stored in the Pasture and your Party.
- Here select the Pokemon that you wish to release. For e.g select multiple Starly, Scyther, etc.
- Finally, choose Release to release your Pokemon.
This will give you different Grit Items these include Grit Rock, Pebble, Gravel, and Dust.
There are two ways for you to get the same Pokemon in large numbers. The first is by catching them in a Mass Outbreak. A Mass Outbreak basically spawns the same Pokemon in a big number for a short time on any region randomly. If you don’t encounter a Mass Outbreak, then the second method is normally catching Pokemon in the wild. Once you have caught a good number, release them.
How to Raise Effort Levels (ELs)
- Press the Up button on your D-Pad and go to the Tab that shows Pokemon & Items.
- Select the Grit Item you wish to use, e.g. Grit Dust.
- Next, choose the Pokemon whose stats you wish to level up.
- Finally, there will be 6 different fields where you can use the Grit items. These fields are:
- HP
- Attack
- Defense
- Sp. Atk
- Sp. Def
- Speed
- Choose the stat that you wish to increase the effort level of and use the Grit item.
