While you hunt for XP and victories in the Battle Royale, you are bound to come across these orange circles. They are caused by the Society Medallion that is one of the latest additions to the game. What is the Yellow Circle in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1?
The Yellow Circle forms over a player who has managed to acquire a Society Medallion by defeating one of the bosses. These are ridiculously powerful objects that don’t take up any inventory space but passively heal their holder’s health and shields. One player having this power can be unfair and as a result, the circle appears over the holder so other players are aware and prepared.
Now that you know about the circle, what should you do if you encounter a player with a Society Medallion? Well, it does come down to personal choice whether you would want to pursue such a player or stay away from their range. Personally, I would love to take a fight with such an individual to eliminate them and get the Society Medallion for myself. These medallion are quite helpful but won’t keep you hidden from the map.
Do note that the size of the circle depends on how many medallions the player has collected. The smaller the circle is, the more number of medallions that player has managed to retrieve.
How to Get Society Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5
There are five bosses on the island in Fortnite Chapter 5, Nisha, Oscar, Valeria, Montegue, and Peter Griffin. Players need to challenge any of these bosses and once defeated, they will drop the medallion for you to collect. Apart from that, the only other way is to wait for a player to steal it so you can eliminate them and have it for yourself.
