According to reports, there are thousands of players who have been facing various bugs, not allowing them to enter the game. Some players have reported that they are “battling the disconnect boss,” or they are forced to quit the game.
If you too are facing the same issue then here are some fixes that you ca try.
World of Warcraft Shadowlands Stuck on Retrieving Realm List
If World of Warcraft Shadowlands is stuck on the retrieving realm list and loading screen then don’t worry because the developers of the game are aware of this bug. They also acknowledged that they are working 24X7 to fix these issues.
Blizzard’s community manager took to the official forums and wrote, “We increased realm capacity to let more players than ever before into a single realm, but extreme demand on a few realms has exceeded even that capacity, so we have dialed down some of our earlier changes. We are trying to carefully balance service stability and accessibility, and exploring multiple avenues to get everyone online and playing smoothly.”
Due to this issue, there are hundreds of players who have been experiencing various problems such as slow login attempts, failed logins and getting stuck on retrieving realm list. Blizzard has been constantly updating players about the status of the game on Twitter.
Here are some of the most affected realms in the US and EU:
- Area 52
- Twisting Nether
What all you can do is wait untill the developer of the game rolls out any new update, solving all bugs in World of Warcraft Shadowlands. Sadly, there is no specific tips and tricks that you can use and connect the game. You will have to wait in the queue untill you can connect.
