Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update Release Dates & Time: How To Get

The upcoming next-gen update promises several improvements and Netflix-based DLC content to the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. This next-gen update will be available for PC as well as the newer generations of consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. You can also get this update for older generation consoles like Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. But several players are confused about getting this update. How to Get the Witcher 3 Next-gen Update

You can get the Next-gen update by simply owning the game. If you haven’t bought Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, you can also buy the game to get this update. Once the next-gen update is live, you will automatically receive the next-gen update for your supported platform. The Console players can also head over to their Store page to check for updates. As mentioned earlier, the next-gen update will include several visuals, gameplay, integrated mods, and several other improvements. Along with this, the update will also include the Netflix DLC.

Mentioned below are all the improvements and content included in the next-gen update:

• Netflix DLC: New Geralt equipment, new Dandelion outfits, new Nilfgaardian Soldiers outfits with Netflix-themed Quest.
• Photo Mode: Newly added Photo mode.
• Cross-Progression: Access your progression over the supported platforms.
• Camera, Controls, & UI improvements: Quick Sign casting, map filters, new Camera option.
• Integrated Mods: Popular Community and Developer mods.
• Improved Visuals: Ray tracing, Ultra+ settings (Only PC players), Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), Haptic Feedback, upgraded Foilage, and improved textures.
• Quest Fixes:  Fixed issues with Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear, Hard Times, Echoes of the Past, Wine Wars, & more quests. Furthermore, several fixes for the quests and cutscenes.

But the visuals, gameplay, and other improvements will not be accessible to the older generation consoles. Also note, this is only applicable to the improvements these old-generation consoles do not support. Regardless, you will get the Netflix DLC for all supported platforms.
