The gain in popularity for Roblox started when they created their first Hack Week in 2011. When added to the fact that they allowed creators to make their own games and let others play them, the milestone journey of Roblox is nothing less than an amazing business.
Since then, Roblox was launched on iOS and Android as well. While in 2013, Roblox launched its Developer Exchange program. This allowed developers to exchange Robux earned from their games into real-world currencies.
David Baszucki, who created Roblox currently holds an estimated 13% stake in the company. The valuation of the stake can be roughly estimated at around $4.2B.
