In Palworld, setting up your base in the correct spot is of utmost importance. You need a large space that is close to resources but is also wide enough for you to build structures. However, it is common that players don’t get it right the first time and would want to relocate somewhere. The part that worries players is what happens when they dismantle the Palworld base that they currently have.
It’s common to worry about your Pals and the structures that you have built. Since you need a lot of resources for most useful items, you wouldn’t want to lose them while changing locations. If you are stuck in the same dilemma, there is good news and bad news for you. We have explained all that happens when you dismantle the base right below.
What Happens When You Dismantle the Palworld Base?
Players can open the map and if they toggle on their base, they can find the option to dismantle the base. However, there would be too many questions in their mind. To ease them a little, here’s the game’s official description of what happens when you dismantle the Palworld Base:
- Note – Structures not placeable outside of the base will be disassembled.
- Note – Some structures will not be disassembled and will remain.
- Note – All pals at this base will be stored in your Palbox
- Note – Doing this will not cause any of your Pals to disappear.
While many structures are disassembled, you will find the resources lying around the base. However, carrying them to and fro from your old base to the new base will be a drag. Unless players have a Fast Travel point setup, transferring all the resources from one place to another will be troublesome. There is a lot of weight to be carried if you set up the base a while ago and without Fast Travel, you will find it cumbersome.
That’s all you need to dismantle the Palworld base. If you found this guide useful, do check out our other Palworld guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
