Apart from new regions and quests, Genshin Impact’s latest update has added a number of in-game currencies that players can use to purchase refinement materials during the ongoing event ‘The Chalk Prince and The Dragon. The newly added currencies are — Glimmering Essence, Warm Essence and Miraculous Essence.

If you want to buy refinement materials like Festering Dragon Marrow in Genshin Impact then you must know how to get these in-game currencies. Apart from 600 Warm Essence, Festering Dragon Marrow requires you to have 600 Glimmering Essence and 400 Miraculous Essence. In this guide, we will teach you how to get Warm Essence in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: How To Get Warm Essence

To get Warm Essence in Genshin Impact, you will need to complete Draconic Pilgrimage events in Dragonspine region first. Notably, these events can only be unlocked after completing Albedo’s Act II storyline quests. Once completed, you will be able to see the icon of both Draconic Pilgrimage events and previous week’s Testing Grounds events.

What all you need to do is head to any location on the map and interact with the red Sword to begin the event. Upon finishing the Draconic Pilgrimage event, you will get 150 Warm Essence. Each event involves killing a bunch of enemies. After defeating enemies, a marker will appear on the map, which leads you to a nearby box. Upon opening the box, you will receive 150 Warm Essence.

Apart from refinement material Festering Dragon Marrow, there are multiple items that you can buy using Warm Essence — 20 Hero’s Wit for 20 Warm Essence each, 20 Adventurer’s Experience for 5 Warm Essence each, up to 120 Mystic Enhancement Ore for 10 Warm Essence each, and up to 30 stacks of 10,000 Mora for 20 Warm Essence each.

That’s everything you need to know about how to obtain Warm Essence in Genshin Impact. While here, ensure reading our guide on another recipe called the Flaming Red Bolognese. You will need the Flaming Red Bolognese to give it to Geri as part of a daily commission quest.
