It should be noted that there is no specific place where you will find the Holder in the Black Forest. However, if you get close to him, a huge icon appears on your minimap, revealing his exact location. What all you need to do is to go there and purchase a fishing rod from him. The fishing rod will cost you 350 coins.
How To Fish in Valheim
Once you have obtained a Fishing rod, you simply need to find a body of water. Once you find a pool of water, you will have to cast your fishing line into the water and wait patiently until you see bubbles will get closer to your fishing line and then the bobber should get pulled under the water.
This happens only when a fish gets hooked in your fishing rod. Now, it is time to reel back in your fishing line. If you successfully reel back in your fishing line, you will get a message appearing on the screen that says Caught Fish. If you failed to catch a fish, give it another try.
