This weapon fires 3 shots at once that can be triggered both horizontally and vertically as per the will of the beholder. Moreover, a Tri-Stringer is capable of firing both quick and charged shots. Although, here’s how you use a Tri-Stringer in Splatoon 3:

  • This debuting weapon is at its best while engaging in a close-range battle. Whereas, the accuracy of a Tri-Stringer gets reduced while aiming at a long-ranged enemy.
  • In addition, try these shots to deal a decent amount of damage to the opponent:
    • Basic Tri-Shot – Tap the ZR key on the controller to fire three quick shots in a horizontal direction. Also, if the ZR key is held for a little while, the shot fired can be more precise and damaging.
    • Charged Tri-Shot – Hold the ZR key to charge the crosshair that will fire a charged attack on the enemy. It is possible to charge the crosshair two times to shoot an enemy at a further distance.
    • Jumping Tri-Shot – While in mid-air, simply tap the ZR key to fire ink shots at the enemy. However, this will fire vertical trajectory dealing a decent amount of damage to the opponent.
  • Practice these shots to master a Tri-Stringer as it surely holds the potential to be a match winner in Splatoon 3.
