How To Use Emotes In Palia

You can now use Emotes to express your emotions in Palia. Yes, you heard it right; developers have added them to the game to improve social interaction between players. You can wave to your friends, shake your head, laugh, and even clap using them. Many players were having discussions and were curiously asking questions about how to use them on Reddit. So, here is how to equip and use them.

As of now, there are nine Emotes in Palia that every player will have by default. Unfortunately, the steps to get more Emotes are not known at the time of writing. But, it would likely be an in-game purchase item or reward for quests and achievements. In case we find a way to get Emotes, we will update this guide right away. For the time being, you can bookmark this guide and check back later if there’s an update.

Now that you know how to get Emotes, here’s how you can equip them in Palia:

  • Firstly, press M on your keyboard to open the Map.
  • Now, click on the Emotes button on the top right corner of the screen.
  • You will now see all the Emotes on the right side and a wheel on the left side of the screen.
  • Drag the Emotes from the right side and place them in the circles to equip them.
  • You can choose seven of them to store in the wheel.

How to Use Emotes in Palia

After equipping them, press and hold T on your keyboard to bring up the Emote wheel. Now, choose whichever you want to play using your cursor. Also, you can press the T key once to perform the Emote equipped in the middle of the wheel. Know that, your character will do a Wave by default unless changed.
