You can use D2 Checkpoint Bots in Destiny 2 by heading to the D2Checkpoint website. Over there, you can find a list of all the active bots with the activities they are currently holding a spot.

So, here’s how you can use a D2 Checkpoint Bot:

  • Firstly, head to the D2Checkpoint and find an active bot in the activity you are looking for.
  • Copy that bot’s name by pressing the Copy button under the Current Fireteam.
  • Launch Destiny 2 and open your chat window by pressing Enter key button on your PC.
  • Type or copy and paste the following command:
    • /Join CheckpointBot#0000
  • Replace “0000” with the Checkpoint bot numbers listed on D2Checkpoint. For example, “/Join CheckpointBot#4132“.
  • Now, join the Checkpoint Bot with whatsoever players or bots are in the activity.
  • To save the created checkpoint bot, everyone in the lobby must be wiped.
  • After the entire fire team is wiped, the checkpoint will be yours.

Note that the available checkpoint bots can vary according to the different activities in Destiny 2. If the current Fire team with the Checkpoint bots is full, you can wait for a while until it becomes available.

As you continue from the created checkpoints, using D2 Checkpoint bots in Destiny 2 can save a lot of time. Doing so, you don’t have to repeat the initial or unneeded part of activities. You can also utilize Checkpoint bots to farm a specific loot or gear. Since these bots are also available for boss encounters, you can focus and increase your chances to get certain loot.
