Dave The Diver: How To Use The Bug Net

Some fish in the Blue Hole are just too small to be caught by harpoon, instead use the Bug Net in Dave The Diver and here is a guide on how to.

After completing the Reticent Girl mission in Dave The Diver, players will get their hands on one of the important items, the Bug Net. You can use it to catch smaller creatures like Seahorses & Clione from the Blue Hole. Players will have to use it in Maki’s subsequent mission for Dave in chapter 2 where you will have to catch 5 Clione. Although catching these tiny creatures can turn out to be a task in Dave The Diver, so to make things easy for you here is how you can use the Bug Net properly in the game.

How to Use the Bug Net in Dave The Diver

Players can use the Bug Net effectively after swimming up close to tiny critters or fish like Clione, Seahorses, etc. Once Dave swims close enough, a spacebar icon will pop up over his head. Press the button when the prompt appears and that’s it. Dave will take out his Bug Net and swing it to catch the Cliones or other tiny fish in the game. The creature will then be stored in your inventory directly. While completing Maki’s quest, you can spot Cliones easily with the blue diamonds over them.

Other than Cliones you can also catch several other tiny fish and serve them in your Sushi restaurant. Catching these fish does not take up much of your inventory space, so you can grab a handful and return to the surface. The Bug Net is not an item that requires you to equip it first and use it in Dave The Diver. Instead, Dave will always have it on him whenever you dive into the Blue Hole. The item does not take any inventory space or your melee weapon slots for now.
