Hogwarts Legacy Upper Hogsfield Merlin Trial Solution
The Upper Hogsfield Merlin Trial, as the name suggests, is near the upper right part of the map. It is advised you explore the area first but it is not needed to solve the puzzle. You can either go there on foot or fly with your broom. Make sure you have Mallowsweet leaves in your inventory before attempting. Let’s take a look at the steps you need to take in order to solve it.
Once you get to the Upper Hogsfield Merlin Trial, activate it by placing Mallowsweet leaves in the center when prompted. Once activated, you will notice that not much has changed but a few big rocks will now have appeared in the vicinity.
There are multiple rocks that you will need to destroy in order to solve the Upper Hogsfield Merlin Trial. Most of these are visible from where you stand at the center of the trial. You can spot one overlooking the area and the other one will be on top of a rock towards the south. You can find another nearby to the north sitting on top of a rock below a ballon if you haven’t popped it already.
And finally, the last one should be towards the west fairly close by. Destroy all these rocks in order to complete the Upper Hogsfield Merlin Trial. We recommend you use ranged spells like Confringo or Bombardo. Doing so will result in the successful completion of the trial.
