Can You Keep Gear In Hogwarts Legacy? (Answered)

Published Date :

Hogwarts Legacy has taken the gaming space by complete storm since its arrival in early February. The game’s open world is full of quests, bosses, creatures and gear items. Yes, there is absolutely no scarcity of this cosmetic item in the game. But the problem here is that it can quickly fill up all your slots and prevent you from picking a new gear. So, how do you solve this problem? Is there any way to store gear in Hogwarts Legacy? Let’s find out!

Can You Store Gear in Hogwarts Legacy?

gear slots

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to store gear in Hogwarts Legacy. So, in case you find a specific gear, there is no wardrobe option wherein you can keep them. There’s anyway no point in holding on to these gear items since there’s no option to level them. You can still keep them in the Limited gear inventory though. But since you can only store a few, you will soon run out of options. So, if you like a new gear that you just found, you will have to bid goodbye to your equipped gear if you don’t have any slots left.

Fortunately, you can store the ‘Appearance’ of your gear permanently. This means that even if you discard or destroy your gear, its appearance will still be saved to your inventory. You can apply the appearance of your previous gears on a new set that you currently have.

This is a thoughtful feature as sometimes you may not be fond of the appearance of a gear with overpowered stats. In this way, you can easily use the appearance of a better-looking gear that you owned previously on your powerful equipped gear. However, while discarding any gear items, your best option would be to sell rather than destroy them. Here’s how:

How to Sell Gear

Well, if you have a common rarity gear item then feel free to go ahead and destroy it. However, for the Epic or Legendary gear, you must go to your nearest store and sell them for galleons. Any store that has a ‘stack of coins’ symbol over them will be ready to exchange with you. Just go to them to get some easy money.

We hope we have answered your question on whether you can store gear in Hogwarts Legacy. While you’re here, check out how to add gear slots and whether traits can be removed from gear in our Hogwarts Legacy section.
