Destiny 2 Infusion Guide: How To Upgrade Weapons

DarwinBy DarwinJune 24, 20222 Mins Read

Destiny 2 is a F2P online multiplayer FPS game where you embark on an intergalactic journey across the cosmos & beating any Foe on your path. You can ride on this journey as a solo player or in a Team Co-op. On your journey, you will face strong enemies. At one point, your Weapons will not be able to get the job done. As such, you will need to upgrade them. In this guide, I will show you how to Upgrade your Weapons in Destiny 2.

To upgrade a Weapon in Destiny 2, you will have to access your Inventory & choose the weapon of choice by selecting it. You will get the option Infuse. Under that you will see a variety of Weapons and hovering over them will show the option of Dismantling them with a cost doing so. Dismantling a Weapon will cost you Glimmer and other resources depending on the Weapon selected. What you should be doing is Dismantling duplicates of the Weapon you want to upgrade. This will cost you only Glimmer. You can dismantle Exotic weapons but you will lose that weapon so do it in a last-case situation. Select the Weapon to be Dismantled & it will go towards the Infusion.

After the Infusion, your Weapon will upgrade to a higher Power level. This is how you can upgrade your Weapons as well as Armor. You can also Dismantle Weapons that are not Duplicates of your Choice weapon but they will cost you additional resources like Legendary Shards & Enhancement Cores. It will also be more expensive on the Glimmer end. This will get expensive over time so just try and get Duplicates for the infusion process.

This was all about how to Upgrade Weapons in Destiny 2. Hopefully, this guide has helped you. You can also check out our guides like Destiny 2 Crafting Guide.
