Splatoon 3 Titles: How To Unlock & Equip New Ones

Updated Date :

Splatoon 3 is the third installment in the Splatoon series. While in the Splatlands, you will join forces either with fellow Inklings or Octolings depending on your choice. Although you can enjoy this multiplayer even on your own, having one or two of your friends will make you enjoy the game. While exploring the Splatlands, you will come across a type of personalization that is displayed after the match. These are displayed alongside the banners and your Splashtags. While they are not that important, the display after match looks better. Although they are not that difficult, unlocking them will need some assistance. So let’s check out this guide to unlock and equip new titles in Splatoon 3.

As mentioned earlier, Titles have no significant importance apart from the personalization. However, each high level one that you unlock will gain you a reputation in the Splatlands. For instance, when you beat the Secret Kettle, you can unlock the Alternan World Champ. While your first title will be Splatlandian Youth, you will soon unlock better ones.

Here’s how you can unlock new Titles in Splatoon 3:

  • Catalog Points – Catalog Points that you earn may help you get some Titles in the game.
  • Shell-out Machine – Shell-out Machine is available in the lobby. You can put some money in it and hope your luck does not run out.
  • Salmon Run – You can also get a few Titles from the Salmon Run.
  • Story Mode – The story mode in the Splatlands will also reward you with certain Titles.
  • Multiplayer Matches – Multiplayer matches will help you level up which in turn will help you get more titles.

How to Equip Titles

While in Status tab, head over to the Title sub-tab. There will be two halves to choose from. Firstly scroll down to the word you want on the left side and then do the same for the other. Lastly you can press Ok and you will equip any new titles in Splatoon 3.

Now that you have new Titles, do check out how to Change Splashtags.

That’s all there is on how to unlock and equip new Titles in Splatoon 3. While you are here, make sure you check out our Splatoon 3 guides for more content with Gamer Tweak.
