How to Unlock Missing Eye Locked Door in Resident Evil Village Castle?

Updated Date :

Castle in Resident Evil Village is a huge mansion with tons of doors and secret passages. Some of the doors are locked and required special items to unlock them. One of them is the door with the missing eye statue. It has a white face mask and this is where you are going to deal with one of the bosses after opening it. To unlock the door you will need Maroon Eye Ring and here is how to find it.

Where to find Maroon Eye Ring in Resident Evil Village?

Maroon Eye Ring is a key item in Resident Evil Village. It is not a missable item, and you can get this at the very start of the game. As you woke up in the castle, during the start of the demo you will find yourself in a bedroom. Do not forget to collect the Crimson Glass from the table on the left of the fireplace. Exit this room through the door on the left and you will see another fireplace. There will be no fire and the small door over it is locked.

Crouch and open that door and crawl through the narrow passage and exit from the other end. There is a statue carved on the door, walk towards it and grab the Maroon Eye Ring. The door will open that will put you back in the castle. The door on the left leads to a room with a statue puzzle, this room also has access to the Duke’s Emporium.

Go upstairs and while exploring the castle you will come across a locked door. The one in the above image is what you have to find, the left eye is missing. Open your inventory and examine the Maroon Eye ring. Pull out the eye and place it on the statue to unlock this door. Be ready for a fight.

One of your daughters will attack you and this is where a boss fight begins. You must have all your weapons ready with First Aid Med, etc. I had provided a link to Duke’s Emporium which sells essential supplies. No need to fight, keep running that’s the only way to escape. Turn right run towards the end and take the first left. Take another left to enter a room and look for a broken wall on the right of the mirror. Break the wooden logs and jump down.

That’s it your exploration now continue to the cellar area which will be almost the end of the Resident Evil Castle Demo. Do not forget to have a look at RE Village Wiki for more amazing tips and tricks.
