If you have been playing DD2 for a while now, it would be the perfect time to unlock the Magick Archer Vocation. Magick Archer in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the best Vocations that you can have in the game. Although it is not one of the starting four Vocations, players will find it quite useful once they unlock it.
To get the Magick Archer Vocation in DD2, players will have to head to the third area of the map, Agamen Volcanic Island. Although you can get there by following the main quest, there is another way through Drabnir’s Grotto, a dungeon in the southwestern part of Battahl. Do note that this method will be tedious but if you are prepared to get it, our guide will provide you with the necessary steps.
How to Unlock Magick Archer in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Once you reach the far side of Drabnir’s Grotto, follow the path over to the island, and you’ll find a dwarf named Gaustafr. Gaustafr will give you the Put a Spring in Thy Step quest. You need to pick some flowers for Gautstafr and then head to his home and talk to him and his wife Cliodhna and offer to take him to the hot springs.
Do note that this journey will be pretty long and players will have to thwart some enemies along the way. Follow the way to the Volcanic Island Camp and look for an elevated cave in the southern part and you will find the hot springs. As you move forward with Gaustafr, Cliodhna will pop out and she will talk to you. Once her dialogue options are over, you will unlock the Magick Archer Vocation in DD2.
With Magick Archer, players can shoot magic arrows from a string-less bow, combining the Archer vocation with spells. This is one of the main reasons why you should unlock it as quickly as possible.
